When learning about Australian animals make and label an emu!
This resource includes two templates for labelling. 1 with empty boxes to write their own labels in and one with the words already printed onto the boxes.
To create the emu use half a paper plate as the body and used thin strips of tissue paper for the feathers.
A strip of cardboard folded can be used to make a ‘bendy’ neck, students then draw their own emu head. For the legs you can use a pipe cleaner folded in half and then legs bent at the bottom.
