Let’s feed Frankie is a fun way to practise identifying and naming shapes.
To set up Frankie cut out the monster and remove the mouth section to create somewhere to post the cards.
Then attach the monster to a box so the cards have somewhere to land once they have been posted.
You may like to glue the cards onto rocks as we have in the photo.
To use the resource have students identify the shape as they feed it to Frankie.
You could also ask them to locate specific shapes e.g. can you feed Frankie something that has no corners.
This resource includes x8 pictures for circles, squares, triangles, ovals, diamonds, pentagon, octagon. Also available in initial sounds and collections to 10.
