Using this resource students will work out what the missing punctuation mark is for each sentence on the game board.
To play each player gets a coloured game board and a punctuation spinner.
The answer cards are sorted into colour piles and placed face down.
Each player is the ‘keeper’ for another player.
E.g. Blue player keeps the answer cards for the yellow player.
Students take turns to spin their spinner.
Whichever punctuation mark the spinner lands on, the player then decides which sentence on their board is missing that punctuation mark.
Once they have decided, the keeper checks the answer card and tells them whether they are correct.
Place a counter on the sentence if correct.
The person who has the most counters on their game board is the winner.
*TIP* Look for punctuation marks ALREADY in a sentence to eliminate a possibility!
