Setting Up Dramatic Play!

We absolutely love PLAY over here at Top Teacher!

Let's talk about setting up Dramatic Play areas in your Classroom! So many learning opportunities happen in a dramatic play area and we wanted to help you set up these fun spaces in your classroom. When we created our Play Packs we wanted to make them as easy as possible for you to recreate! We purchased a small amount of core furniture and wanted these pieces to be able to be used for all of the sets we make.

We get asked so much about these pieces of furniture we use. So first we will go through the basic furniture we have bought and use in the play packs. Then see some photos of them in all their glory in all of our current play packs - including our brand new Vet Play Pack!

Market Stall from Kmart

This one of our fave pieces and can also be used the focus for most Play Packs! It is $69.

3 Tier Bathroom Caddy

This is also from Kmart and is $20. They are perfect for keeping items sorted and in easy reach!

4 Cube Unit

This is also from Kmart and is $19. These can have so many uses in the Play Packs - from item displays to animal cubbies!

LACK Coffee Table

Or course you could use any table, but as we are not in the classroom we purchased this one from Ikea for $39.99

These little kids stools are from Kmart and are $12 each. They are also super easy to store under the tables when not in use. This trolley (which can become so many fun things!) is from Target and is $29.

We are just deciding on Term 4's play packs so flick us through any you wold like made! Also always feel free to ask any questions abut what we have used in them (Even though we can probably tell you 90% of the time it is Kmart 🤣)
