Teacher Fashion by Monique from @teachingincanberra

When it comes to deciding on teacher clothes and outfits it is important that I look professional but also be comfortable throughout the day. I am a kindergarten teacher and need to be able to move around easily- from sitting on the floor working with kids or teaching daily PE sessions. You also don’t want to spend $1 000 000 on your clothes because they could be damaged from those fun paint lessons etc.

Clothes

Here is a list of favourite stores I buy my teacher clothes from:

Shoes

When it comes to shoes and being a teacher, it is important that the comfort is there! We are on our feet all day teaching and completing our playground duties. It is important to invest in your feet. I used to have sore feet all the time and would think you didn’t need to spend much on your shoes but since buying more quality shoes, I no longer have this problem. I can recommend Frankie4 footwear and Bared footwear for great teacher shoes!

Accessories

Now we all love a great accessory and my go to when teaching is a beautiful lanyard. There are so many different types of lanyards from silicone beads to clay and evem themed lanyards. Some of my fave companies I buy my lanyards from:

  • Miss S Makes- 15% off with MONIQUE15
  • Ofhandsandhearts
  • Aria & Harper
  • Browne and Blue
